A huge harbour crane to Blomberg Stevedoring in Vaasa
Oy Blomberg Stevedoring Ab, part of the KWH Logistics business division, has acquired a crane with a lifting capacity of 208 tonnes to the Port of Vaskiluoto in Vaasa. The crane s one of the largest harbour cranes in Finland and at the same time in the northern Baltic Sea. The value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 7 million.
KWH Logistics converts heavy machinery to electric
Our division KWH Logistics is among the first in line participating in a development project where they convert the existing equipment from diesel to electric. The converting process starts with changing the power line of the equipment into a new one and continues by utilizing every part that is possible.

Oy M. Rauanheimo Ab and Outokumpu Shipping Oy have signed a contract for crane operations in the port of Tornio. The operations will commence in the beginning of year 2021.
