Third sustainability report from the KWH Group
The KWH Group has published its third consolidated sustainability report. It includes both KWH Group Ltd and the companies in all our business divisions. The 2024 sustainability report thus includes information from Mirka, KWH Logistics, KWH Invest (Prevex) and KWH Freeze in addition to the owner company and its operations. Therefore it has the same scope as the consolidated financial reporting.
Record result for KWH Group despite challenging market conditions
2024 brought both challenges and successes to the KWH Group. Our sales rose to EUR 625.1 million, with an operating profit of EUR 76.9 million. Net profit for the financial year totalled EUR 63.1 million, the best in the Group’s history.

Rauanheimo started in Kokkola on 7 April 1884 as a one-man business under the name of Otto Rodén. The journey from humble beginnings to the 270 employees of today has been an eventful one. This year, the stevedoring and forwarding company has reached a significant milestone – 140 years in business.
KWH Group’s second sustainability report published
The KWH Group published its second Group-wide sustainability report at the end of May. The report describes the KWH Group’s objectives, tools and actions to promote sustainability. It also presents the key sustainability indicators for the KWH Group and its business groups.

We support relief efforts in Ukraine
The KWH Group and our four divisions Mirka, KWH Logistics, KWH Freeze and Prevex donate a total of € 25,000 to support various relief efforts in war-torn Ukraine. Most go to the Finnish Red Cross (FRK). Support is also given to Nada Nord ra, which arranges bus transports from Poland to Pietarsaari, Finland for women and children fleeing Ukraine.
KWH Logistics converts heavy machinery to electric
Our division KWH Logistics is among the first in line participating in a development project where they convert the existing equipment from diesel to electric. The converting process starts with changing the power line of the equipment into a new one and continues by utilizing every part that is possible.
