Christmas donation to Save the Children Finland
For the second year in a row, the KWH Group makes a Christmas donation to Save the Children Finland (Pelastakaa Lapset ry). The Christmas fundraising will be used to support children in Finland.
Save the Children Finland distributes food aid to families with children in need, as well as support for hobbies and educational materials. In addition, the funds raised are used to provide children with support persons, support families and online chat support. In 2022, the organisation reached around 59 000 children in Finland with the help of donations.
Save the Children Finland is a politically and religiously independent children’s organisation founded in 1922. The organisation was founded as Ester Ståhlberg’s Association of Homes for Homeless Children. Save the Children Finland is part of the international Save the Children movement, which works to promote children’s rights in over 100 countries.
