The KWH Group has published its first Sustainability Report. It includes both the KWH Group, as well as the companies in each division. The report covers the year 2022.
Although 2022 brought many challenges, the KWH Group’s turnover and profit reached their highest levels in the company’s history. The year also included significant investments in the sustainability efforts of KWH Group’s business divisions.
Oy Blomberg Stevedoring Ab, part of the KWH Logistics business division, has acquired a crane with a lifting capacity of 208 tonnes to the Port of Vaskiluoto in Vaasa.
Mirka’s aim is to create a cross-industrial ecosystem to develop solutions for the remanufacturing and construction industries, contributing to a net carbon negative impact.
The KWH Group has traditionally donated to various charitable causes through Christmas cards. At Christmas 2022, we will support the work of Save the Children in Finland. The Christmas donations will help to prevent social exclusion and help underprivileged families with children in our country.
