Christmas donation to Save the Children Finland

For the fourth year in a row, the KWH Group makes a Christmas donation to Save the Children Finland (Pelastakaa Lapset ry). The funds raised will be used to support children in Finland by helping low-income families with children, preventing social exclusion, and supporting young people suffering from anxiety.

The funds raised from the Christmas charity collection are used to give low-income families with children gift cards worth €50–70 for grocery stores, as well as support for hobbies and school materials. In addition, the collection will provide children with support persons, support families and one-to-one online chat discussions. In 2024, the organisation reached over 75 000 children in Finland with the help of donations, 5,000 more than the previous year. Currently, more than 120 000 children in Finland live in low-income families.

Save the Children Finland is a politically and religiously independent children’s organisation founded in 1922. Save the Children Finland is part of the international Save the Children movement, which works to promote children’s rights in over 100 countries.
