Mika Halvorsen appointed as Head of KWH Freeze Business Division

Mika Halvorsen, CEO of KWH Freeze, has been appointed as the head of the KWH Freeze business division starting from December 1, 2025, as Peter Lång retires.

At the same time, he became a member of the KWH Group management team. Halvorsen has served as CEO of KWH Freeze since April 1, 2025, and prior to that, worked as Development Manager at KWH Freeze for 16 years.

KWH Freeze is Finland’s largest actor in frozen food storage. The storage facility is in Vantaa near the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Almost half of all frozen food consumed in Finland passes through the company’s warehouse.
