COLD STORAGEKwh Freeze – Vantaa and InkooKWH Freeze, which has cold stores in Vantaa and Inkoo, is Finland’s leading commercial cold storage company. The company’s oper- ations concentrate primarily in the food and provisions sector. As a result of a systematic development effort, KWH Freeze is able to offer its customers the most ef cient link in the logistics chain for frozen foods. Thanks to its exceptional customer and product know-how, it can adapt its services to meet market requirements. KWH Freeze offers tailored solutions for frozen storage, such as leasing storage space to customers for their own use, with their own staff being respon- sible for product handling.Its largest customer groups include Finland’s leading wholesalers, food manufacturers and importers. The degree of utilisation of the space available rose in comparison with the preceding year and overall volumes in- creased. Sales grew by 8.0% to EUR 18.0 (16.7) million. Pro tability was satisfactory.KWH Freeze’s long-term strategy is to ex- pand its storage capacity in line with in- creasing demand, and to be its customers’ primary partner in the industry. The outlook for 2017 is positive.24
