KWH Group supports universities of applied science in Ostrobothnia

KWH Group has donated 10 000 euro to the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) and 10 000 euro to the University of Applied Sciences Novia. VAMK’s donation is directed to the field of technic and Novia’s donation to the field of technic and communication.

– For us as an export company it is important to make sure that we have centers of education and knowledge close to us. Good technical education is one of the corner stones that help us survive in the international competition. That is why we wanted to finance the universities of applied sciences in our region. We have earlier taken part also in the fundraisings of the University of Vaasa and the Hanken School of Economics, says the Group CEO Kjell Antus.

The national fundraising campaigns of the universities of applied sciences take place 11/2017–12/2018. Government subsidies will be allocated in proportion to the private capital acquired by the universities of applied sciences, and for this reason the benefits of donations accepted by 31.12.2018 will multiply. The raised funding will be used to support education and research.
